A majority of youth contestants of BJP are lawyers. Among the youth candidates who are leading the BJP front in MC elections include, Kanwarjeet Singh Rana, 26, the youngest candidate contesting from party and is pursuing LLB. He has been an active member of ABVP and is contesting from ward 14.
Maheshinder Singh Sidhu, 33, a law graduate who has been associated with the party since last 12 years and is contesting from ward number 1.
Saurabh Joshi, 37 is also a law graduate from Panjab University and has contested student council polls of the PU as an active member of ABVP and is contesting from ward 18. Candidate from ward 21,
Gurpreet Singh Dhillon is 39 years old and is associated with party since last many years.
Davesh Moudgil, also 39 is a law graduate contesting from ward 22, and has been associated with party for last 22 years, besides being the sitting councillor. Jagtar Singh Dhillon, also 39 has been an active member of the party since 1999.
Raj Kishore, 40 is another law graduate who is contesting from ward 19. Shakti Parkash Devshali, is 42 and is another experienced party leader contesting from ward 20.
