“Inspired by the ideology of Narendra Modi led to my homecoming to BJP”: Hans Raj Hans

Chandigarh, December 15, 2016: To boost up and invigorate the election campaign ahead of the upcoming Chandigarh Municipal Corporation elections, the party invited its star campaigner the Sufi singer and BJP leader Hans Raj Hans who not only added mysticism to the election campaign but attracted large number of people as he campaigned for BJP candidates in different wards across city.

Hans while addressing the audience in Manimajra where he was campaigning for Jagtar Singh Jagga, candidate for ward number 25 said, “I am an ardent admirer of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has worked for the welfare of the poor. He has no insatiability for power, money or even the designation that he has been bestowed upon him by the people of India. He left his home, his family to serve the people of his country and that is why I have deep respect for him who is on the path of nation building with a selfless motive.”

Echoing the same lines Sanjay Tandon, Chandigarh State President BJP, added, “Today all of us know and can see the development that the city has witnessed in the past 10 months under the BJP governance. The city is developing because the BJP is in power in centre, the MP from BJP can take forward our concerns to get them approved from the Prime Minister, our Mayor who is also from BJP can carry forward the development of the city under the stewardship of our PM and MP. It's time to show the voter power and to empower the candidates to carry forward the development that the city is witnessing as councillors from their respective wards." He also appealed the voters to choose between the corrupt Congress leaders and the honest BJP leaders.

Hans also campaigned in ward number 23 to support Bharat Kumar. While addressing a public meeting in Hallomajra he said, “Modi has a vision to make a better India. All he needs from his countrymen is support and patience. He understands the necessities and requirements of a common man. He understands what hunger is, he knows what thirst is, he can relate to how the adverse weather affects a common man and that is why he is on a path to eliminate the difference between the poor and the rich. I would humbly request the residents to vote and support the BJP candidate so that he is able to continue his development drive in the city as well.”

He also campaigned in ward number 11 for BJP candidate Satish Kainth in Palsora village, in ward number 2 for BJP candidate Raj Bala Malik in Sector 15 and Khuda Lahora, ward number 20 for BJP candidate Shakti Parkash Devshali in Sector 29-B, ward number 12 for BJP candidate Chandrawati Shukla in Sector 52 colony.
