Congress leaders looting their own people’: BJP

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today said the Congress leaders who had earlier been involved in various scams are now looting its own people.

Ravinder Pathania, Media Incharge of the BJP was reacting to allegations by Subhash Sharma, Chandigarh Congress Secretary who has opened a front against the Pawan Kumar Bansal, former MP, and Pardeep Chhabra, Chandigarh Congress President.

Pathania said first name of Pawan Bansal had figured in railgate scam, Pardeep Chhabra in booth scam and Davinder Babla in shed scam, and now there were allegations within the party, which shows how party was now looting its own people.

It may be mentioned here that Chandigarh Congress General Secretary Subhash Sharma of alleged former mayor Pardeep Chhabra for distributing party tickets to undeserving candidates and also said that Pardeep Chhabra misused around 50 lakh rupees of the party fund and tickets were issued to the candidates who had several legal cases against them.

Pathania said Congress party men were themselves taking the misdeeds of party leaders to the general public, which will give a befitting reply to the Congress in the MC elections.
