Welfare Bodies extending full support to BJP

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates during their election campaign in different parts of the city are getting overwhelming response from various resident and trader welfare associations.

The party candidates were welcomed by residents and shopkeepers as the councillors went around the residential area and markets. Meanwhile, Sanjay Tandon, President, Chandigarh Pradesh BJP today inaugurated party’s Election Office today in Sector 46 for ward number 21. The ward comprises sector number 32 and 46.

Mayor, Mr. Arun Sood and candidate from ward number 8 while campaigning in his ward interacted with the residents and took note of the residents’ demands. He said his objective is to develop the area and he will carry forward the development work by making the ward cleaner and greener.

Mr. Shakti Parkash Devshali, candidate from ward number 20 today went door to door campaigning in sector 29-B today and also visited the traders in the market. His concern for the ward and initiatives taken, such as the installation of dustbins in the vicinity were lauded by the residents and the market association and he was assured full support in the forthcoming elections.

Candidate Mr. Kanwarjeet Singh Rana received overwhelming response from the residents of ward number 14. Rana assured the residents that he will work for the development of the ward and will be accessible to the residents.  He, during the election campaign in Burail interacted with the residents and assured their problems would be addressed.

Ward number 17 candidate Ms. Asha Kumari Jaswal, while carrying out the door to door campaign in her ward interacted with residents in sector 18 A and 19-D. She was accompanied by BJP Mahila Morcha General Secretary and sitting councillor of Zirakpur Ms. Ekta Uppal. The supporters and party workers addressed the residents and assured them to carry forward the development work taken up by her.

d in sector 5, market sector 11 and part of sector 7 today. During the door to door campaign in sector 7 he visited the CPWD quarters and interacted with the residents to know the problems and issues being faced by the residents. Residents assured him full support in the elections.

In sector 24. She received an overwhelming response from the residents. She assured the residents their demands will be looked into and she would ensure holistic development of the ward.
 
While campaigning in ward number 13, candidate Ms. Heera Negi met the senior citizens who apprised her of their concerns. Negi said, she would carry forward the development works as she had earlier done in her ward.

Ms. Raj Bala Malik, candidate from ward number 2 after the inauguration of BJP election office carried out door to door campaign in her ward. She also held nukkar meetings in sector 15-D. She also received overwhelming response from the residents of Panjab University.
