People's Thumbs-Up to BJP; Trashes Congress for Misrule

• Raj Bala Malik assures cafeteria near new book market
•  Ward 3 was neglected by Cong councillor, complain residents
•  Colony 4 residents welcome demonetization move of Modi Govt.

Chandigarh December 8, 2016: Overwhelming response is pouring in for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates canvassing for the forthcoming MC elections next week. While voters are supporting the party for its outstanding performance in the last 11 months, residents are criticizing the Congress for its misrule in the last four years.

BJP candidates today campaigned in their respective wards holding public meetings, nukkad meetings and door to door campaign.

More support is pouring in for BJP candidates from all sections of the society. At a function held at Lions Club, Sector 18, Senior Citizen Association of 18, 19 and 21 extended support to BJP candidate Asha Kumari Jaswal, from ward number 17.

Senior citizen association of Sectors 18 19 & 21 organised a meeting at Lions Club in Sector 18D. The president of the association P.C Sanghi president of the association, Lt. Col. H.S Sarao (retd.), Chapter Head and Satnam Singh Randhawa, Vice President assured their support from their association for the upcoming mc elections to Asha Kumari Jaswal. Nukkad Meeting was organized in Sector 21, where Jaswal addressed the meeting and was assured support from the residents of the area.

Raj Bala Malik today campaigned in ward number 2 where she went door to door in Sector 15. She said people are meeting her warm heartedly and assured their full support to her. She received request from Resident Welfare Association. The residents have demanded a cafeteria on empty space near the new book market in the sector, which was used to dump garbage, and Malik assured their demand would be met.

While campaigning door to door in Sector 22, Ravi Kant Sharma, contesting from ward number 3 said, “Sanitation is a major issue in this ward and was neglected by the previous councilor. I will make sure that this is resolved on priority.”

Sunita Dhawan, BJP candidate from ward number 4 campaigned door to door in parts of Sector 23 and got an encouraging response from the residents.

Rajesh Kumar Gupta, BJP candidate from ward number 16 said, “While campaigning door to door in sector 20 people said there were happy with the initiatives of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Bittu said he will take forward development of the ward and residents assured faith in him.

Shakti Prakash Devshali, got a overwhelming response in his ward 20, “It is disheartening that the Congress is making issue of demonetization, but during my interaction with the people in my ward no one complained during my interaction in Colony Number 4, Industrial Area and Sector 29. People are indeed happy with this move and appreciating it.”
