BJP candidates get support from residents, traders



Gets overwhelming response in Nukkar Meetings, public meetings, door to door canvassing

 Chandigarh, December 12, 2016: With MC elections just around the corner, BJP candidates have stepped up their campaign to connect to maximum number of voters. MP Kirron Kher campaigned in Sector 45 in support of BJP candidate Kanwarjeet Singh.


A public meeting was organized in Sector 45, where residents turned out in large number.

Kher said Kanwarjeet Singh had started his political career from University days. She appealed people of his ward to vote for Kanwarjeet and give him a chance to serve them.

Asha Jaswal contesting on BJP ticket from ward number 17, today addressed nukkar meeting in Sector 21 organized by resident welfare association who assured full support to her.

She also campaigned in Sector 19 market where traders apprised her of their demands.

BJP candidate from ward number 19 Raj Kishore today canvassed door to door and met residents in his ward to seek support for MC elections.

Gurpreet Singh Dhillon, ward number 21 BJP candidate campaigned door to door in Sector 46 and held a public meeting later in the day.

He said, he is committed to work for welfare of the residents of his wards and will carry forward developments works like previous BJP councilor from ward.
