Shahnawaz Hussain, National Spokesperson of BJP has a good connect with the youth. He was in 1999 elected as MP from Kishanhanj Bihar when he was just 31 and has also been Minister of State for Youth Affairs and also has the distinction of being the youngest cabinet minister. He would be addressing a press conference on Wednesday and also campaigning with different BJP candidates in the city.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has shortlisted 30 star campaigners who are likely to visit the city to connect with the residents of different wards.

On the other hand Aarti Mehra has been campaigning in city since Monday giving a major boost to the women candidates contesting for MC elections.

Mehra, who has served as Mayor, Municipal Corporation, Delhi (MCD), was also the former incharge for Chandigarh.

She is being supported by Latika Sharma, Kalka MLA who is also campaigning in city. The women candidates contesting on BJP ticket include experienced leaders including lawyers like Raj Bala Malik and Asha Kumari Jaswal.
