Chandigarh 02nd May, 2019 - Union Minister for road transport & highway, water resources and river development Nitin Gadkari has said Chandigarh will soon witness transport revolution with the introduction of double decker and sky bus giving much of ease to daily commuters in Chandigarh. This will not only reduce the mounting pollution in pollution but also represent affordability for citizens. Gadkari was addressing intellectuals from different walks of life today at Law Bhawan, Sector 37, Chandigarh."Ministry has already through with its DPR and with the repeat of our Modi led govt in centre, we will able to deliver the dream project for their residents." affirms Gadkari. 
Gadkari said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always endeavour to develop the basic infrastructure in which road transport and water transport are always been in top priority. Gadkari inform ever since BJP assumed the power in 2014 the road construction pace was barely two per day which has now increased to 32 kilometres per day. Ministry so far has spent over Rs 17 lakh crores in this sector which has brought the smooth sail in transportation across the nation.
Earlier while welcoming Gadkari, unit president Sanjay Tandon thanked his ministry for granting Tribune flyover and except more flyovers in town in near future. Tandon ensure the Kher’s representation from Chandigarh to upcoming Narendra Modi led govt.While recounting her achievements of her tenure, MP Kirron Kher termed Gadkari 'Instant Decision Maker' which strengthened the city's connectivity with other reaches of states. Kher recounts on 24 hours water supply, cent percent spending of MPLAD funds, judicious conduct of Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojna and Annapurna Akshay Patra Yojna and other schemes and projects benefiting the under-privilege class.Also present on the occasion includes Vice President Rambir Bhatti, Organising Secretary Dinesh Sharma, General Secretaries Chandershekhar & Prem Kaushik, Former Mayor Arun Sood, SAD Unit President Hardeep Singh and other senior leaders.
